Spain Update 1 - Zaragoza
Jeff Bell

The Spain Family is now in Zaragoza, a beautiful city, in the North central part of the country. Its history goes back to when Rome ruled this area and Caesar Augustus was emperor during the time of Jesus. Remember Luke 2: “In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the whole Roman World”.
We have been here for four days now and are loving the slower pace of life. Our first couple of days in Barcelona were hectic. We only had a short time there so our schedule was packed with ministry and sight-seeing. Not to mention that Barcelona is a very busy and crowded city. Despite the busy pace we had a great few days.
Once we arrived here in Zaragoza, we were able to slow the pace down a little bit. We have had several street ministry opportunities, where we were able to talk about Jesus. The students are learning how to approach people, figuring out how to start conversations, and beginning to move those conversations towards spiritual topics. They are also getting more and more excited about street ministry. They are asking good questions about how to do it more effectively. We are beginning to see the desire to share their faith come out and the sense of adventure is building! God is using this experience to equip our students to share the gospel effectively, not just for the rest of the summer but for a lifetime of ministry to come.
We will be on our way to Madrid soon and are looking forward to seeing how the Lord will use us. We are very proud of our students.
