The Alaskan Adventure Begins!

Our first full day in the Alaskan forest!  Our two travel days were long and tiring, but also relaxing as we watched the gorgeous landscape race by.  The mountains surely do declare the glory of God, and so do the trees, creatures, lakes, and all of Creation! The team is in good spirits as we have settled down in our campsite, although the mosquitos will take some getting used to.  

The team embarked on a hike through the trees today, surrounded by towering pines, swampy bogs, and a cool, muddy flat at the end.  The scenery here is truly remarkable and points hearts towards the Creator God and His masterful handiwork.  Quiet Time and Bible teachings among said beauty is a thing of wonder!
