Food Shack Supervisor

We are looking for an individual who is organized and has an eye for detail. This role can be all consuming so it is important that the Food Shack Supervisor is able to take full ownership of their role and be available when duty calls.

Helpful Experience/Skills:

‍Responsibilities:

• Log fridge temperatures twice daily
• Pickup produce order from Walmart every other day
• Distribute and recollect food during meal times
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Food Shack
• Monitor inventory and communicate with the Food Manager
• Assist Food Manager and Food Training Manager as needed

Grounds & Operations Help

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are mechanically inclined and can work independently. This role varies from day to day and often requires individuals to see a need and take the initiative to complete the task.

Helpful Experience/Skills:

• Mechanically Inclined
• Experience Operating Lawnmowers, Weedwackers, and Other Tools

‍Responsibilities:

• Keep grounds mowed and trimmed
• Set up/take down volunteer & guest tents
• Help with arrival and open house day preparations
• Use your knowledge and experience to assist with other odd jobs that may come up

Sound Tech

We are looking for an individual who has experience with sound to work alongside our worship and teaching staff to ensure everything runs smoothly. The work may not be physically strenuous but will require you to be present and available for all activities under the Big Top.

Helpful Experience/Skills:

• Experience using a soundboard and mixing
• Problem solving

‍Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sound equipment set up and tear down every day
• Manage the sound board during worship and various teachings
• Assist the dance instructor during Skill Groups time by managing the music

We request that you are available to volunteer the whole time. It would also be helpful to also have help June 13th - June 19th, but it is not necessary.

Dish Pit Supervisor

We are looking for individuals who can remain calm in chaos and offer a kind, welcoming, and helpful attitude. The dish pit is a fast-paced environment where all of the teams come to wash their dishes. In this role, you will personally interact with almost every individual at Training Camp.

Helpful Experience/Skills:

• Ability to work in crowded and fast-paced environments
• Maintain composure under pressure
• Enjoys interacting with students
• Remain engaged and on task, but can entertain yourself during lulls

‍Responsibilities:

• Sanitizing, filling, and monitoring dishwashing sinks
• Prepping bleach spray bottles
• Supervise students and staff as they utilize the dish pit

Airport Drivers

We are looking for experienced drivers who can handle late night or early morning drives.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes
• Experience driving large vehicles with trailers

Helpful Experience/Skills:

• Enjoys interacting with students

‍‍Responsibilities:

• Drive teams in Reign Ministries’ vehicles to O’Hare Airport for early morning flights and return to Training Camp

You can assist with one or both dates. If you are interested in staying at Training Camp for a few extra days to assist with other volunteer roles, we would be happy to have you.

Media Team

We are looking for creative individuals who understand the culture of Royal Servants and have a desire to document the happenings of Training Camp. 

Helpful Experience/Skills:

• Collaborative
• Creative
• Understand the heart of Royal Servants
• Own and know how to operate camera equipment
• Working knowledge of Lightroom and Photoshop or similar software

‍Responsibilities:

• Capture photos and videos of what’s going on at Training Camp
• Store and organize files for office staff to use throughout the year
• Craft social media posts for official Reign Ministries accounts

Worship Team

We are looking for individuals who are confident in singing or playing their instrument on stage. Worship at Training Camp is often stripped down and simple. We are looking for individuals to support our worship leader by filling out our team or offering to lead the set from time to time.

• Musical proficiency

‍Responsibilities:

• Assist in leading worship twice daily
• Ensure all sound equipment is properly set up/stored away
• Craft set lists from the provided songbook

Close Up Team

We are looking for hardworking individuals who are up for any task and willing to get their hands a little dirty. Once our teams have packed up and headed off to the airport we need additional help cleaning and closing up Training Camp for the year. This role requires a few days of intense hands-on work.

Helpful Experience/Skills:

• Hardworking
• Task driven
• Basic skills with tools
• Prepared to work in all weather conditions

‍Responsibilities:

• Clean refrigerators
• Collect garbage
• Sweep the admin building
• Remove AC units
• Load Reign vehicles 
• Pack and ship boxes
• Board up the windows and cover dish pit screens

Our greatest need is for volunteers to be available the entire time and stay until the work is complete. However, we can utilize some help Friday- Sunday.
