Is your child considering Royal Servants?
We want to do all we can to assure you that Royal Servants is the best possible missions program available—focusing on (1) safety and health, (2) personal discipleship, (3) effective relational and street evangelism, (4) appropriate discipline, and (5) qualified leadership.
Royal Servants has been around for over 27 years, with a proven track record of safety and quality. We take all possible measures to ensure that your child will have a first-class experience in discipleship and evangelism, while placing them in the safest environment possible. There are no exceptions to this rule—regardless of the mission trip and location, Royal Servants acts on our conviction of the critical importance of the mix between safety and quality.
What your child will learn during their summer with Royal Servants?
Each student will be exposed to truth on a daily basis. We will begin at Training Camp with an overview of what it means to be a Christian, how to authentically love others, how to develop their prayer life and much more. We focus on practical aspects of their spiritual development and follow up each teaching with practical application.
Students spend a significant amount of time memorizing scripture. We believe the truth of the Word of God truly inspires life change. They memorize from both the Old and New Testaments and focus on verses that apply to their walk in Christ. Each student will memorize 40-70 verse during the course of the summer, depending on the length of their trip.
Our days at Training Camp include time spent practicing a ministry skill. Skills can include music, drama, dance, clowns, or a sports team (Costa Rica & Ukraine).
We desire that students return home with a better overview of the Bible. Some teams will complete the Walk Through The Old Testament and Life of Christ. Shorter teams will focus on the highlights of Christ's ministry.
As students progress through the summer, they work with their small group leader to develop goals and define their individual strengths and areas of growth. We challenge students to choose attainable goals in life and ministry. We also invest time teaching them how to have an effective quiet time. We teach them to value consistent Bible study, scripture memory and daily prayer time.
Most of all, students are exposed to new circumstances, people and places and develop a Christ centered world view. Students learn the value of community and accountability throughout their Royal Servants experience.
Please contact Reign Ministries with questions you may have about Royal Servants. Our staff at the Reign headquarters would love to help you understand more about our ministry and what a summer with Royal Servants will include. We can also explain to you the support raising process, as that is a key area in preparing for a summer on the mission field. We look forward to serving both you and your child as they head into a summer of service, resulting in a lifetime of ministry!
