Stephanie Lyon went with Royal Servants in 2008 to Ireland and in 2009 to Sierra Leone. Learn about the impact Royal Servants had on her and her plans to work in Tanzania this summer and to pursue medical missions in the future.

I went to Scotland for both my years in 95' and 96'. And the memories I have are still very vivid. The impact that Royal Servants made in my life is major. I can still recite the 4 spiritual laws by heart and many of the verses I memorized while there. It's been a long time and the foundations you helped me build are still strong.

There are a lot of things we do on Royal Servants in the summer that stick with students after they go home. We regularly remind students that we believe in them more than they believe in themselves. Read this recent email from Diana about her experience.

The last two years of my life since embarking on the significant faith journey to Nepal in 2007 have been the most life-filled years of my short existence.

I just wanted to participate since this is such a great organization. My daughter, Elizabeth Thompson, went to China the summer of 2004. It was a great experience for her! We wish the best for all the participants!

Through my experiences overseas, God has really cultivated within me not only a heart for Him, but for His people as well! It was through these mission experiences that God has confirmed His plans for me to serve Him full-time as a missionary, and let me tell you, there is NO other thing I'd rather do than to serve God and to love on His people around the world!

I also wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for inviting me to be a part of the Nehemiah Team in 2005. God taught me the importance of continual surrender to his plan, and I am reminded of this as I pause to pray once again in the Garden of Gethsemane.
