Kairos Discipleship School has just completed two of its leadership training experiences--Kansas City Outreach and BWCAW Leadership Adventure.  Next: serving as staff disciplers on Royal Servants summer mission trips.

The Kairos Discipleship School returned Friday night from their 2 ½ week mission trip to Honduras.  They worked with the Lenca Indians deep in the central American jungle.  These villages are so remote, to reach the villages they must drive in 4x4 trucks for two hours on a "road" that has only existed in recent years.  During their time they conducted two medical clinics and constructed a roof on a new church building...

The Kairos Discipleship School is in Honduras now.  They left Thursday, February 11, for more than two weeks in the Opalaca Mountain range.  They are hosted by and serving with Mercy Intern

"If it was easy anybody could do it!"  For those people who know me, it does not take long to find out that I am passionate about the Wisconsin Badgers.  Why am I so passionate?  Well, growing up in the Madison area is definitely a part of it, but mostly it is because of the four and a half years I put in as a member of the UW Marching Band.  You see, at the University of Wisconsin the band is just as popular and works just as hard as the athletic teams.

After having a two and a half week break for Christmas, last week the Kairos Discipleship School students came back ready to start the new year hitting the ground running. We finished up our first semester teaching schedule with an incredible week of teaching on the Father-heart of God and forgiveness. There's just something about combining 15 young people, a vision of discipleship, and a season dedicated to change that fills the atmosphere with excitement. The Kairos Discipleship School is up and running with a new expectancy for growth and the potential for legacy.
