Biggest Loser

Staff-BC-Tom-Ives

5 Suggestions for Stepping Out In Faith--I was watching, "The Biggest Loser" the other night, and I was struck by something Bob said.  In the midst of encouraging one of the participants during a particularly painful workout, Bob, with that razor-sharp intensity of a coach, said, "You have to find new limits!"  Wham!  Straight to the point and on target...

There are a lot of things we do on Royal Servants in the summer that stick with students after they go home.  We regularly remind students that we believe in them more than they believe in themselves.  Read this recent email from Diana about her experience.

Ireland Now in London, Different People

People are very curious about these Americans walking around.  We stick
out like a sore thumb. Our students have had amazing conversations with
some of the youth here that have led to decisions for Christ! Praise
God! We talked the other night what it feels like to be used by God...
all the answers were positive, so the question was posed, why are we so
terrified of it at home!? The people here are blessing us beyond words
with their kindness and hospitality.

Ireland, New Church, New Ministry

Ireland

It was hard to leave our friends at Ebrington and even though we pulled out around 5am, we had quite a crowd gathered to send us off. We saw God work in huge ways in Ireland; through us, and in us. People’s lives were given to Christ as a result of our street ministry, lives were transformed through our relational ministry, and hearts were softened and broken through our own learning and loving. We’re now in Tottenham and the change is evident.

Ireland, Student Share Personal Experience

Castle in Ireland

God has been teaching me more and more about myself. I have learned I need him more than anything else and if I ask him for strength, he provides in unbelievable ways. Ministry is something I always look forward to. Ireland is filled with people; and I want to share with all of them.

Ireland, Students Excited About Sharing Faith

We used surveys as conversation starters with people on the street and
they sparked several great conversations with people from all different
religious backgrounds. Our students are so excited about sharing their
faith and it is SO encouraging to sit and listen to our students tell
their God stories.
